Weather Radar Layers on Apple Watch
A quick guide to viewing and switching weather radar layers directly from your Apple Watch, so you can check the conditions that matter most right from your wrist.
How to Use Weather Hi-Def Radar on Apple Watch
- Open the Weather Hi-Def Radar app
Launch the app on your Apple Watch. - Tap the map name icon
From the radar view, tap the map name icon at the top of the screen. - Open Layer Selection
This will take you to the Layer Selection page. - Choose a map layer
Select one of the available layers listed below.
How to Add the Weather Widget to Apple Watch
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone
Make sure your Apple Watch is paired with your iPhone. - Go to My Watch
Tap the My Watch tab. - Select Complications or Widgets
Choose where you want to add the widget (depending on your watch face or widget stack). - Add Weather Hi-Def Radar
Find and select Weather Hi-Def Radar from the list. - Save and view on your Apple Watch
Your widget will now appear on your Apple Watch for quick access.
