  1. Download and Open Weather Hi-Def Radar Forecast: After installing, launch the app to begin your weather-tracking experience.

  2. Accept Necessary Permissions: Upon first launch, Weather Hi-Def Radar Forecast will request permission to access your location for accurate weather alerts. Additionally, accept permissions for notifications to enable weather alerts and updates directly to your device. This ensures you're fully informed of severe weather conditions and forecast updates in real-time.

  3. Your Current Location: As soon as you start the app, it promptly displays the weather for your current location in a pop-up at the bottom of the screen. This location is automatically saved for quick access. You can swipe up on the pop-up to explore detailed weather information, including hourly and daily forecasts.

  4. Navigate the Radar Map: Familiarize yourself with the Weather Hi-Def Radar Forecast interactive features. Tap, drag, and zoom anywhere on the map to view weather patterns in your area or globally.

  5. Exploring Map Layers: Access diverse weather data by tapping the Layers icon in the app's bottom menu. Experiment with different layers, such as Radar (Smoothed), Radar over Satellite, Surface Temp (land and water), Wind Speed, Snow Depth and more.

  • Future Radar and Clouds: See predicted radar and cloud imagery for the next few hours, along with future temperatures, water temps, and wind speeds maps.

  • Lightning and Precipitation Alerts: Receive notifications for nearby lightning strikes and detected precipitation within 10 miles.
