Create and Save Your Favorite Weather Maps

Custom Map Views is a Plus feature that lets you create personalized weather maps by combining your favorite radar layer with weather overlays. Think of it as a bookmark for your preferred map setup, so you can quickly return to the weather information you use most.

A new Save View icon is also available on the map screen, making it easy to save your current map configuration with a single tap.

Free users can try the feature by saving one Custom Map View. Once saved, that map view cannot be edited or recreated if deleted.

Creating and Saving Your Custom Map

Method 1: Create a New Custom Map View

1. Open the Layers screen
   Select any Radar layer.
2. Choose your overlays
   You'll be taken to the Overlay Selection screen.
3. Review your radar layer
   Your selected radar layer appears at the top. Tap it again or use Back if you'd like to choose a different radar layer.
4. Select weather overlays
   Choose the overlays you'd like to display with your radar layer.
5. Name your map view
   A suggested name (such as Snowfall Map View) will appear. You can keep it or enter your own.
6. Tap Save
   Your new Custom Map View will appear at the top of the Layers screen.

Method 2: Save Your Current Map View

This method is perfect if you've already configured the map the way you like it.

1. Set up your map
   Choose your preferred radar layer and weather overlays.
2. Tap the Save View icon
   Tap the new Save View icon on the map screen.
3. Name your map view
   A suggested name will appear. You can use it or enter your own.
4. Tap Save
   Your Custom Map View will be added to the top of the Layers screen.

Renaming a Custom Map View

When saving a new Custom Map View:

1. Tap the name field.
2. Enter your preferred name (for example, Megan's Radar View).
3. Tap Save.

Managing Saved Map Views

Tap the Edit icon in the saved views section to:

• Delete a saved map view using the Delete icon.
• Reorder your saved views by dragging the three-line handle.

Using a Custom Map View

1. Open the Layers screen.
2. Tap one of your saved Custom Map Views.
3. Your saved radar layer and overlays will automatically load.

Important Information

• Custom Map Views is a Premium feature.
• Free users can save one Custom Map View as a trial.
• The free saved map view cannot be edited after it has been saved.
• If a free saved map view is deleted, it cannot be recreated unless you subscribe.
• The Save View icon on the map screen provides a quick way to save your current radar layer and overlay combination.

Custom Map Views make it easy to save and revisit your favorite weather setups, giving you one-tap access to the radar layers and overlays that matter most.
